We are fortunate to plan and design this intimate Hy Tea Lounge wedding. Humphrey and Bella had got engaged during the Covid-19. Instead of having a big celebration due to the pandemic, they decided to have a beautiful and intimate signing ceremony with 8 guests of the immediate families and couple close friends at Waterfall Building’s Hy Tea Lounge. Even though it was just a small size, but they still wanted beautiful decor and floral to document the big day.

Bella was originally from Shang Hai and studied at Toronto University. Humphrey was from Vancouver, and studied at UBC. They were accepted by Oxford University for their master degrees at the same year. The only two students were accepted from Canada that year among 64 students world wide. They met in Oxford and grew their love between the study and traveling around the world.  To showcase their unique stories, the Oxford land mark was the main design on the invitation, stationery, and the cake along with other land marks where they have traveled to.  Bella once told us, Humphrey once said: “As long as I am with you, it doesn’t matter where we are, I am happy”. We knew “With you I am home” was the perfect theme to celebrate their love. We had this quote on the champagne scroll, the welcome sign, and the cake design. 

Bella envisioned her wedding at a flower glass house. Their wedding planner Liting Chan from Paradise Events found them the perfect venue: A glass building with a modern architecture. On the wedding day, the glass building was transformed with lots of fresh flowers: a custom welcome sign and a floral arch at the entrance, the infinity circle arch at the end of the aisle. The aisle was lined up with flower beds on both sides, all the chairs were styled with the fresh flower. The signing table was decorated with the furniture, elegant silk, customized canvas, and lots of flowers. After the ceremony, the family seated at 2 tables, and had a High Tea styled dinner.
